It’s honestly frustrating that in 2026, an app at the top of the "Best Audio Apps for Watch" list is still nothing more than a glorified remote control. I’m deeply disappointed because I expected so much more.
My main goal was to be able to go out for a run without having to carry my phone, but this app doesn't support standalone streaming or offline downloads on the Apple Watch. It’s ridiculous to pay for a Premium subscription and still be tethered to my iPhone during workouts. If you're looking for a truly independent experience for sports or outdoor activities, stay away from this app. Google needs to step up; otherwise, I’m moving my business to the competition.

When I add a specific song that I like to my playlist it changes out of nowhere, the song version changes to a different version of it. i know that people upload different versions of a song because they sound good and that's ok but I don't understand why that happens, it is really annoying; no matter how many times I try to add that specific song to my playlist it always changes. I HATE IT
