so thankful for this app/site! have met such wonderful families through here and have been using it for about 3 years, give or take. i wish the app was more stable. i sometimes find it frustrating that it won’t load or save something but closing out the app and reentering it usually does the trick :)

The app itself as far as booking goes it is actually wonderful! But they have a lot of technological kinks they need to sort out. The feed loads slow and always starts back from a week prior, it’s never up to date you have to auto stop the app multiple times! It’s quit annoying when you’re trying to reply in a timely manner. I hope they get it sorted out soon. We shouldn’t have to keep old messages on our app. Especially when a client decides to move forward with someone else. It’s a waste of space and it is very confusing. Also it keeps sending you false notifications

I was excited to come across this service as I was looking for an individually-owned and operated cleaning company for a senior relative. I put out my request and got some good bites - and was so flabbergasted to learn that in order to have any contact with the caregivers that respond to your request, you have to pay a monthly subscription. Given that this resource is primarily for caretakers, sitters, etc. I think it’s extremely immoral to put a paywall up in the process so early, thereby taking advantage of people in potentially desperate need of care. I walked away from the service without paying and used many of the free tools that are similar, and I would caution everyone to do the same. Being put in touch with caregivers is NOT worth paying for.

Nobody answers, and not only after I payed for a background check the app stops working and tries updating the app but not worth the money I paid.

I’ve had wonderful luck finding great caregivers and people to help me on care.com as well as finding amazing job opportunities when I was looking for extra work

Many of the profiles are inactive. It would be much better if there was a way to filter individuals who are still using the platform as you can reach out to 10+ people without a response. Genuinely not sure if they are real profiles or not given so many lack of responses.

I have been left reviews by people who have lied and I have proof as well as people who simply didn’t like my price and I never even worked for, they have left me bad reviews and there’s nothing I can do about it
