Not worth it

Don’t even know why they have the Standard plan, all you get is a few ongoing series. The moment a series is marked complete, it can only be accessed by the Deluxe plan.

I recognize why this app has ads, but while I’ve read recently suddenly a video will show and it’s an intuit creditkarma ad. When that happens it interrupts the reading experience and at the end of the chapter I can’t open up the comments

I don’t know if this is a widespread issue across the industry or not but the scans are pretty low-res. for context i’m on an iphone 16 plus, which is a so a pretty big phone but still. if i zoom in for details at all things get blurry real fast, so i can’t imagine what it’s like on an ipad. it’s honestly really disappointing. otherwise the free tier is pretty great. even though you can’t re-read chapters, having access to everything is worth it and the only ads you see are pictures that come at the end of chapters and you can quickly breeze past them which is fantastic!

This app is great when it works! It has a huge catalogue that gets updated daily and it has a decent reader but the reader keeps giving me issues! Right in the middle of chapters it will not load some pages and the issue gets worse if you use the app for a while! I also don’t like that there’s no sign in option that’s a little odd. I hope that they’re able to resolve these issues soon because this app is really good when it works! Especially if you’re trying to take a break from doomscrolling on social media this is a good alternative!
