Why People Choose Action Tour Guide:
“This was my first time doing an audio self-driving tour. The stories were perfectly coordinated with the stops, whether it was for views, wildlife, or historical in nature. The route offered different directions and alternative routes that also came with stories and pullouts. I will be looking for audio tours in other places I visit in the future!”
iPad Notice:
You can use an iPad to take the tour, including Wi-Fi, but only models without GPS. However, these devices rely on external connections and may not provide accurate location tracking. We don’t recommend using them; an iPad with GPS or an iPhone will give you a much smoother experience.

A great way for a personal tour

We picked up Action Tour Guide when visiting Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed it so much that when we decided to drive up Pikes Peak, we added that tour to our library. Works very well, especially with Apple Car Play in our vehicle. When walking we used it on multiple phones with AirPods to not disturb others.

Excellent! We loved it. It was great because we visited in off season and still were able to learn all and more than we had wanted.

We did the Palm Springs and Joshua Tree tours and thoroughly enjoyed both of them! We learned things about both places that we never would have known without the app. Highly recommended!

We subscribed to the Washington DC Tour based on the sample. We anticipated comparable information for each stop along the route. If the information had been of similar quality we would’ve given the service an 8 or 9, however, many of the stops had limited information that was not at all like the sample nor compelling. For example, the most information shared regarding the World War II monument was about a small graffiti meme. The service felt like a bait and switch.
