Hinovel - Read Stories for iPhone

When you download the app it say clear as day “Read all short stories feee for 7 Days” but when I attempted to setup the free trail subscription it tried to charge me the full $20. I saw one story I was interested in so I was excited to try this app but it’s not worth paying $20 when there is only one story I am interested in. Maybe if the app worked as advertised I might’ve been incentivized to extend my free trial but I just deleted the app and moved on to another story app. It’s unfortunate because this app did seem interesting but oh well! You should fix the advertisement on the app if that is in fact not accurate, it’s misleading and a waste of peoples time.

I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription for months now I don’t remember even applying but every week $20 is taken out of my account it’s honestly ridiculous. It says to cancel go under the subscriptions in our settings but it’s not there when I pull it up and doesn’t have a cancellation on the app it self is stupid.

Takes forever to earn enough coins for 1 chapter. I’ve had coins earning them and then when I get enough the coins disappear. There’s one book I’ve been trying to read and only got to chapter 9. I guess I lose out. I’m done with this app and I can’t find the book on any other app. Fake dating by my best friend’s brother. By Diamondgiirrl

If you subscribe to their weekly VIP through the app online, it is next to impossible to cancel it. There is no place in the app to click to cancel and I cannot cancel through the App Store. I just got charged for three separate weekly subscriptions on the same account without multiple benefits. I am incredibly frustrated. The stories are good, but not anything that you can’t find elsewhere else. It’s not worth it. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the frustration and money. Update: In order to cancel you either have to email them and wait for a response or contact them through Facebook messenger which although faster than email does also take a while. It’s insane that you can’t just cancel it from the app.

WAYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE This app wants $19.99 for ONE WEEK of unlimited reading. That is way too expensive and quite ridiculous. If it was for a month of free reading, I’d understand and say that’s reasonable. But for one week is stupid. It’s a scam

Steals your money! There is no way to cancel the membership and no way to get ahold of anyone. Do not download and do not subscribe

I’m leaving a review because the app is really good but I’d love it if they return the 18 bonus check in, the way it was before, it’d be. Lovely

I downloaded and paid for a subscription to read a particular story on this app. Now that I’ve paid for the monthly subscription, the story won’t let me read because I need the weekly Or yearly subscription. I’m really annoyed and I’m sure it’s a fine app, but not being able to read what I originally downloaded this app for has put me off and now I’ve paid 20 bucks.

I don’t understand why if I paid for coins, and I still have not used those coins it still wants me to buy a subscription before I can continue reading the story
