They don’t allow to you to cancel subscription. The only way to stop is by calling your credit card company and dispute their charges.

The app has taken to punishing me for taking screenshots of ads when I want to remember the name of a novel advertised to me from another app

Video ads rarely work, and instead you’re forced into completing tedious tasks that often don’t even give rewards wasting your time repeatedly. The app is absolutely flooded with ads. Nearly every action triggers one, making it feel more like an ad platform than a reading app. Chapters are extremely short but overpriced, clearly designed to drag stories out as long as possible with no real progression or ending. To make things worse, there’s no update schedule. New chapters drop randomly, if at all. Overall, this feels like a cash grab rather than an app that values its users.

It’s too expensive to buy the short stories. And even more expensive for the longer formatted stories.

I tried canceling my subscription however all I get to speak to is AI bot who is unhelpful. The instructions they give are simple enough however, when you don’t have the option to cancel, and they give you the runaround, it can be quite frustrating. I’m still currently waiting to speak to an agent that they said that they were patching me through.

I never subscribed, but they somehow started charging me! Emailed them with no action yet!

Way too expensive, cheaper to go to the high priced book store for edited books and smoother reading.

The stories are designed to keep you hooked and spend more and more money. I purchased a subscription to avoid this only to be told “free reading” did not apply to all books and still needed to buy coins to finish the one book I was reading. It is very misleading and I still haven’t figured out how to navigate and find my “free” books( which I paid $199 for) I am so mad I was so easily scammed

I have had this app on my phone for a while. I woke up Saturday morning to an unauthorized charge. When I brought up my concern with them they told me that they use a 3rd party to authorize charges and would not help me. Disputed with bank and removed ApplePay because I have 2 layers of authentication and they still got through.

I did the short stories subscription as they had a deal and when it was time to cancel I couldn’t find the button. Their instructions say to check Apple subscriptions and the history section… what they don’t say is that there is the history section in the account tab and there is a separate one in the short stories tab. I asked for help in the customer center and they ghosted me… needless to say I will be giving my credit card company a call. Be careful that they don’t defraud you of money because you can’t cancel.
