To opt out of AI data scraping what should be your private information it now turns off all smart features - no spell check, no inbox organization - just turns everything into a mess. So much of my professional life is linked here, but I may have to switch email providers.

I’m not usually one to review apps, but this Gmail app is the worst app experience I’ve had in recent memory. Tapping on a notification doesn’t take you to the email, because the app is frozen on launch. Oh, did you open the app and want to revisit the opened email again within a few mins? You’re out of luck because the app is frozen again; you’ll need to force quit and pray that it opens and runs. Do better, Google.

Started bombarding my accounts with spam emails telling me my account was almost full even after deleting a ton of photos it was still almost full and I can keep going. I moved to Yahoo Mail and I pay a monthly subscription but I love it. It’s 100Xs more professional no spam mail I can easily delete my emails hassle free. Not fake delete emails like on Gmail where soon as I refresh all the mail is right back. I would never pay for a Gmail subscription just based off the greed factor and attempting to bully me into paying using deceptive tactics
