After updating my app, music pauses every time I open and close maps while in route. I purposefully have the sound of navigation off for this reason, but some bug broke this

Constantly needs updates. Anytime I am on Google and get directed to Google Maps it takes me to the App Store to get constant updates. What’s funny is that it still sucks even after constantly updating. They can never get directions right due to their software that tries to route the quickest way but will have u going in circles to get you to where you need to be.
The one time you need it to work, it will delay, showing you the traffic jam until you are in it

I use Google maps daily on my way back just in case there is a crash. This is probably the sixth time that Google completely failed to update the map in time with the traffic jam that was there for at least 30 minutes. I live in a dense city area off NYC. I am switching to Apple Maps. Google has gone down the tubes.
