  • Okay diary entry

I wish there was a better way the app can be used to guide the reintroduction. If the diary entries only have specific foods to track, it would be better to then have a plan that actually helps you reintroduce these foods. Also there may be some specific food intolerances in certain foods that should also be allowed to track. I don’t really understand why you can’t add any food item to your diary. From the food lookup you can only add a personal note, where does this get centralized? Why can’t you add the diary entry from here? Overall great information, but the flows could really be improved. I’m resorting to tracking this stuff in a notes app just because I can’t enter in specific food items in the diary.
  • Super helpful! Many ways to improve!

I really appreciate this app and feel it is super worth it for the diary function and cross examination of foods. The concept is unique and insanely helpful. It could use a lot of work in terms of streamlining, helping us understand data, and being more accommodating/accurate. I’ll list some of my observations below and would always be happy to give ux/ui feedback in the future via email. -Female health: the female body is very different than the male body. Depending k my cycle, I need completely different things, have higher malabsorption rates, and different sets of motility symptoms. Incorporating this would be a game changer and differentiate you from other sources -Data analysis: it would be great to be able to cross compare symptoms, and have an analysis drawn by the app from different foods. Also, this would be made much easier by adding a drop down feature for choosing food in meals, instead of just writing it. -The landing page is awkward, could use some testing and redesign to know what users need quickly in the service flow -Add widgets for iPhone!
  • So much lost potential

So this app could so easily be fixed I want to scream. It’s like whoever made it never went grocery shopping. You know what would be fantastic? Make a section in filtering for the app of what you CANNOT eat when you’ve know which carbs your sensitive too. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have an extensive complete list of what not to eat for sorbitol. But instead this app basically is set up so I have research any item I will ever be interested in eating and slowly have my soul get crushed when I have to find out piece by piece what I cannot eat. Why would you not give people more options for filtering???? It’s honestly disgusting considering this is a paid app
  • Not great if USA resident

Got the app mainly for the listing of food products that are safe and certified but found that 98% of the products are only sold in Australia Japan and Italy, practically nothing listed available in the USA.
  • Good, could be better

Overall the app is good. Team actually updates the app + fixes bugs (thank you!) I find navigating the foods a bit cumbersome at times (things aren’t normalized well, missing foods, etc.) I’ve been using this app a little over a year, plan on continuing to use it.
  • Lacking

While there is some good information in this app, it’s basically just a list. No ability to check anything. No barcode scan. No sort feature. Under L”Snacks” there are a bunch of international entries I will never encounter and I cannot remove them. Get another app. I will be requesting a refund.
  • The information is the most reliable and high quality you can get, but the app itself isn’t great.

Not fun to navigate, missing a lot of foods, especially US brands I’ve noticed, search function could use some work. Expected more recipes and features for the price tag. But, I appreciate that I can always trust what you guys say on the foods that are listed. There is so much conflicting information on google and it is nice to have a nice go-to spot for a simple answer.
  • Save your money!!

This was not worth the cost to download the app. It’s not very helpful and I feel like the same information can be found with a quick (and free) google search. The presentation is poor and it would be helpful to have common products and brands listed. I searched a variety of products and rarely did I find a product on the list. All in all there are better apps/better web search options to help.
  • Contradictory Information

Unsure if any of the information is reliable as under “food guide” they have “broccoli heads only, raw” listed twice — once as green and once as red at the exact same measurements. Super frustrating, especially in a paid app.
  • Life changing data. Mediocre presentation.

Learning about fodmaps changed my life. I’m so grateful for the work done by Monash. The app though…..is not built that well. The data is shown one food at a time, so it’s hard to understand the big picture of which foods affect you. There’s the option to make a favorites list that helps a little, but it’s still not very good. I contacted Monash for the data as a spreadsheet so that I could sort and filter. They said no. Grateful for the data. Irritated by the presentation.
