Reviews Clue Period Tracker & Calendar for iphone
It’s pretty good! I recommend it!

It is very good! The only downsides are that there are some features that you have to pay for, but those features don’t effect your tracking. They are just extras. I really like this app! You can customize when you get notifications and what you get notifications for, and even what the notifications say! There are in-app options for the app icon, which is really fun! There is a LOT of customization options available without having to pay!

There are period days added that represent what is supposed to be my normal cycle but I did not add them and I cannot seem to delete them.
Good app, frustrating to use

I use the app only for period tracking and don’t want any of the paid features. I like the design and the organization of the app. I’ve been using Clue for the past 7-8 years and haven’t had any inconvenience whatsoever. However, it’s so frustrating to get a pop-up notification to subscribe after EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE ON THE APP. I understand that the paid subscription is what keeps the app running; nonetheless, I think you can advertise the paid subscription on the app in a non invasive or exaggerated way.

You can tell when a company cares about women. Compared to Flo, this app is very appropriate and educational, nothing over sexualized. I feel like periods tend to be overly sexualized as well most of women’s health and this app does a great job at keeping women safe. My little sister just got her first period and I trust this app to be appropriate for her.
Intentionally Hostile App Design

Update: the developer response conventionally did not address the ableist design of the app—which intentionally makes it impossible for the sight impaired and cognitively impaired to select the “x” button the ads—which block the ENTIRE screen, mind you. The response was even more infuriating. The part they did address was simply them pointing out the obvious part of the original complaint, but framing it as new information to make their response look helpful. Instead it was patronizing which further solidifies the app’s ableism. Saying nothing would have been better.
The app is intentionally designed to be difficult to navigate. As a disabled person with limited eyesight, it is nearly impossible to find the “x” button to remove the full screen Upgrade Advertisements. You can only look ahead in the calendar predictions a month or so, which is additionally hostile. That particular feature should not be extra, it should be basic. If the free version doesn’t even include THAT, why even offer a free version? I’m currently looking for an alternative app— I’m fed up with the app’s hostility.

Could be better. Could be worse. It’s free. It collects data. It’s usually spot on and helps me remember. Rated 👍🏼

Love all the details in tracking- I’ve used this app for years and it just keeps getting better. One thing I would like to see is more detailed selection for PMS. Can I check a box for the slightest noise bothering me? That’s the kind of stuff I want to see on a pattern so I can go hibernate.
Best period tracker!

I’ve tried many apps and I’ve been with Clue for the past 5-7 years. It’s the most comprehensive and easy to use. Its predictions are very spot on. As someone with PMDD tracking mood and other specific pain symptoms throughout the month is crucial for me. Love this app!
