FlightDeck is a real-time flight tracker built for people who actually care about aviation.
Tap any plane on the map and get the full picture: where it's headed, how far along it is, what type of aircraft it is,
and an AI-generated brief that explains what's actually happening with the flight. Not just dry data points, but
context. If there's a ground stop at the destination, you'll know. If it just diverted, you'll know why.
LIVE MAP
Track thousands of flights worldwide using real ADS-B data. 82 aircraft silhouettes so you can tell a 737 from an A380
at a glance. Altitude-based color coding. Tap to select, tap again to follow.
AI FLIGHT BRIEFS
Every aircraft gets a short, readable narrative pulling from ADS-B telemetry, ACARS data-link messages, ATIS, FAA
status, and weather. It's like having a dispatcher explain each flight to you in plain English.
NOTABLE AIRCRAFT
Spot military tankers, government jets, law enforcement helicopters, and other special-interest aircraft in real time.
Gold star badges on the map. A dedicated tab shows all notable sightings from the last 30 minutes, grouped by category.
WEATHER INTELLIGENCE
Live precipitation radar overlay. Pilot reports (PIREPs) for turbulence. SIGMETs and AIRMETs. NOTAMs with AI summaries
So you don't have to parse FAA legalese yourself.
AIRPORT DETAIL
Tap any airport for live departure and arrival boards, D-ATIS, active runways, and FAA delay status. Ground stops,
average delay times, estimated end times. All in one place.
CUSTOM ALERTS
Set up geofence alerts in plain language. "Tell me when a military aircraft flies within 20 miles." Or track a specific
flight and get notified on takeoff, descent, and landing.
EMERGENCY DETECTION
Squawk 7700, 7600, and 7500 codes are highlighted instantly on the map with audio cues and push notifications if you
want them.
3D AIRPORT VIEW
Zoom into any airport and switch to a 3D ground map with runways, taxiways, and buildings. Watch aircraft taxi in real
time.
Built with live data from ADS-B, FAA, and aviation weather services.

Why pay

Why do you need to pay like if you said it’s free for three days don’t make us pay
Not ready for prime time yet

I thought this would be a companion or replacement to Flight Radar 24 but it’s not ready yet. Funny seeing ACARS message so easily available. The map is laggy on scrolling, selecting airplanes, and viewing information on the flight. Even on the lowest setting there is an insane amount of notifications.
Pretty Good Start

I am enjoying the ACARS alerts and the customization aspect of receiving the level of alert you desire. I know this app is just starting out, so I’m excited to give it a chance and see what they continue to implement. You get a 3 day free trial to try it out and I am going to pay for the year to see what they do to make it even better
Worlds longest onboarding

You go through 15 minutes of onboarding just for the app to be fully blocked by a paywall. I previously left this review and returned to see the developer reset all reviews. The app needs a lot of work
Notifications Don’t Work Right

By Dubl_E
When you receive a notification about an ACARS message and you click on it, it opens the app but doesn’t take you to the message. Searching for the message is difficult and often won’t yield the result you’re looking for. I did not end up subscribing.
This app had potential

This app had potential, but needs work. I subscribed for the 3 day free trial. As a fellow flight crew the trial was not enough to keep me on board. Each alert I pressed from the push notification would result in a frozen screen and eventually the app would crash. The app is rather laggy with so much information presented at once. Even with medium notifications I felt it was way too many notifications. Perhaps one should be able to select specific regions for notifications? Certain airports or airlines customization? Some flights showed no ACARS whatsoever. Others had a limit of 2 messages. It was fun to read what was happening, but the app is rather slow to present the information. With performance improvements I would consider resubscribing.
ACARS feature is a gem

This is for the geekiest of the Avgeeks out there. ACARS & flight logs features are unique to this app, and the pushed ACARS moments feature is such a gem. Definitely worth the price.
Should still be in beta

Do not buy the annual subscription. This app has tons of potential, but should still be in the TestFlight beta stage. If you want to try it, only do a month and cancel. It’s buggy, turning off ACARS notifications doesn’t turn off notification. I’m not normally one to trash an app, but it’s unfair to be charging money for an incomplete product. The UI, while pretty, is not polished. There’s no basic flight times / gates for tracking a flight. ACARS is cool, but sometimes includes messages from an earlier flight. Right now, this is a cool experimental app, not actually useful.
This app does have lots of potential though. I cancelled my subscription for now, and don’t recommend anyone get one at least until the end of 2026 when they hopefully iron everything out.
I’ll be back in a couple months to try it again. I’d really like this to replace FlightAware/FlightRadar in the future.
flawless app

Complete waste of time, made me do a 15 minute tutorial just to be greeted with a paywall. You cannot use the app at all without paying.
