Bumble is a free dating app dedicated to helping singles find fun, meaningful, and kind connections.
It’s the dating app where kindness is sexy, and where women come first, always. We champion respect and equality, and we don't just welcome, but we celebrate every orientation. So whether you're straight, gay, lesbian, trans, here to find love, here to find fun, here to find friends, or simply dating for the plot–creating new connections has never been easier.
Our community is filled with millions of people across the globe who are ready to chat and meet new people, build genuine and meaningful connections, and maybe find that artsy, museum-loving, Scorpio they've been looking for.
DATE, MEET NEW FRIENDS, AND NETWORK
Our matchmaking technology is constantly evolving to create a fun, kind, and most importantly safe experience for you across all of our apps, including:
Bumble Date: Where women make the first move. Women always come first on Bumble, we've rewritten the dating rules so that everyone can form meaningful relationships safely and respectfully.
Bumble For Friends: Life is better with friends. Whether you're new to a city or hoping to expand your circle, Bumble For Friends is an easy way to make new friends.
Bumble Bizz: Yep, you read that correctly. We have Bumble Bizz, too. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new exciting career opportunities.
WOMEN COME FIRST, ALWAYS
We believe a better world for women means a better world for everyone. So, for the most part, women get to make the first move around here. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond. So, don't let them be the one that got away. Send that message ASAP.
DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT
“Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company)
“Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired)
“Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times)
“Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard)
“What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider)

They don’t protect their users……. That’s a lie

Telling users to stay in the app for “safety” but then monitor and censor them, from profile posts to discussions and punish them for with a ban for any content they don’t like. Yet the devs do the same thing begging for people to subscribe so if they can get mad people discuss what they do for work then their users, even the banned ones, can compensate by leaving bad reviews. Devs please don’t bother responding to my reviews of your app after you were HORRIBLY RUDE, censoring my chats with others. Firstly you required I work where I say I work by sending a confirmation email to my work email, then you falsely claimed I was going against community standards by doing commercial business through your app which I wasn’t. People asked what I do for work, what my rates are, and if they could req a session. I never asked for payment and answered their general questions. Secondly you’re breaking your own community guidelines asking people to pay for a subscription which you made clear with your angry response to my general email after I talked with your customer service, also it doesn’t take me to your response anyway so it’s useless to respond. Lastly I’ll follow through and spend the next 8 years as long as I have used your app, to leave interstate reviews until my account is unlocked. Can’t stop that! Ciao edit. I can’t see developers response nor do I care after your callous response to my inquiry about why my account was banned. Update. Customer service is not top notch. I was given vague hints to read community guidelines about why my account was being flagged. When it got banned there is no customer number to call which is REALLY suspicious, because same as booking.com. So all you can do is email and even then they can’t tell you why. When I asked they said “ THEIR DECISION IS FINAL!!!!!!!” And so here I am as promised leaving reviews to warn others about how bad this app has become and not to give any funds to it so it can choke on its own entitlement and do us all a favor and die off
Go back to your first year of science and learn XX and XY

People who don’t know XX from XY worked on this and made it function super improperly, now there’s men on the women’s side. Just trash, devs should be embarrassed
Lastly, someone who’s never read chose this font. You cannot change my mind there
Terrible

I supposedly have over 200 likes with multiple “nearby” so I paid $5 for unlimited likes for 24 hrs. Well I’ve been swiping for well over 30 minutes now and not a single match. Seems like the algorithm is not allowing the women that liked me to be shown. Don’t waste your money on any extras that they might offer, it’s not worth it and is quite literally that, a waste.
Why do yall keep deleting people im talking too

I match with someone and then later I go back in the app and their gone but people who I had a conversation with months ago keep appearing. I don’t understand what you guys do but it’s getting old and annoying.
Banned

Crazy that you can say something to a man being rude to you and report someone that tried to rape you, then you get banned.
Wrongful ban

I’m really disappointed with this app. I was banned without any warning or explanation, and there’s no way to appeal or even find out why it happened. It’s incredibly frustrating since I had built valuable connections on the platform, and now all of that progress has been wiped out overnight. This has seriously hurt my ability to network and connect with others in my industry. The lack of transparency and support is unacceptable — I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone relying on it for professional growth.
Never got a match

As a man in my early 20s I am in pretty good shape, I’m not too picky about the kind of women I’d like to meet, she can be tall short, a little plump, super smart, or not smart at all and I’d be willing to get to know her. But my experience here sucked, after a year I never got a match or met anyone. For men who are not the top 10% then dating apps are not really for us.
Wasting time

No matches
Too darn expensive

I have used Bumble before which is very similar to Tinder in the sense that non-populated areas are not conducive to a app this parse of human beings in the first place. Now the larger issue is that there is no free trial so there is no way for me to see who has liked me and the last time that I paid for this exorbitant exorbitant price where it advertises a certain discount for a week at a time, but you have to pay for a full month which is roughly $65.
At right around $36 for a week you end up realizing later once you join that those likes never happened in the first place..
They need a free trial because this is Highway robbery and really takes advantage of people who are in A lonely state. Which in 2025 is so very many people.
Poor experience

I paid for this app in its early days and the subscription hasn’t helped me much I rarely get matches and I know I’m considered attractive. Spotlight doesn’t do much super likes haven’t done much and I’ve used this app for over 5 years.
