Event default dates far off in future

Whenever I need to schedule a recurring event, the end date is set deep into the next year. How about not setting a future date or just pick a date one week out instead?
Microsoft Outlook: Great for Professionals!

As someone who had only used Gmail until I needed to sign in to my school e-mail, Outlook took me by surprise by how organized it was! I enjoy being able to pin e-mails and use (as far as I am aware) up to three e-mail addresses at a time— which is very handy when one needs to check their personal, school, and work email all in one quick glance.
The only recommendations I can make to Microsoft is to make the “Pin” button easier to find, as I struggle with it but need it quite often, and to make it easier to mass-delete e-mails on mobile. Otherwise, it is a wonderful app for your business, school, and personal e-mails!

Need to be able to show ALL unread mails in an easier fashion, the fact that the unread search folders etc. don’t port over is a huge pain – especially when you’ve worked for a company for a long time and have many, many filters. Sure is nice on the OLD Outlook thick client where I can show all unread across my exchange account and sort by what folder they’re in. Thanks for encrapifying yet another product Micro$oft.
