Been on the list for two years even with referral. You have to be a bbl built and buy at least 100k followers on instagram to be let on. I know because I’ve seen it work for others . Not for people that actually want to date and find love with others in their pay grade

After 1.5 years of being on the waitlist, I was accepted to Raya. I paid the monthly feel. The pictures I saw reeked of social climbers. Absolute nobodies. I exited the app after a few minutes of browsing. I was in another app that’s completely separate from Raya. I took 2-3 screenshots in that app with Raya still open in the background. When I went back hours later I opened the app only to find out I was BANNED for screenshotting in a different app!! Even worse, they wouldn’t refund my monthly subscription I paid for. I had to go through Apple to get my money back. This app is a total sham; stay as far away as possible!!

i’ve gotten a bunch of matches in my first couple weeks but none of the men reach out first. im convinced these men are just on here to flex that they’re on raya. i’m holding out to use it for my summer vacation plans but i’ll definitely be canceling right after if nobody chats. paying for the cheapest tinder subscription gets you a lot farther than this app does!

Not only do you have to be INVITED to even have this app. On top of that you STILL HAVE TO PAY for it 💸💸💸💸💸💸💸

there’s definitely more curated and more beautiful people on the app, everyone is in a realm of their own expertise. I think it’s a good intro but there are faults 1: it shows me matches from everywhere in the world in my daily card picks, since it’s trying to “foster high quality connections”, but it is unnecessary how many of those options are international, out of 20 daily options usually 2 are local and the rest are global, and I’m in LA. I’m not interested in a long distance relationship so this is wasteful just wasting my money 2: in the global search, it isn’t tailored to your orientation even when u think it is in your preferences, so if you’re straight, you’ll see people to match with all over the world that are of the same sex…. Again, not very effective when this is a dating app and you’re showing people the wrong orientation. 3: the most expensive plan still limits your suggestions per day for (you guess it) members who are dominantly not in your area! But guess what you get unlimited likes on profiles in the explore page but don’t even know if they’re the same sexual orientation. Get a grip Raya.

I pay monthly to see just a certain amount of people who live in another country or state? How does that make sense?

Can’t really use it if you’re trying to avoid the Facebook empire
