I have used Evernote for years and I can’t get over its reliability and its functionality. My organization uses it constantly. Paired with the microphone on my iPhone it works flawlessly to record my thoughts.

I wish i never started with Evernote. If you haven’t, please don’t do it. The price doesn’t justify the offering. The customer service, no matter how many times i’ve opened a help ticket, is completely unresponsive and still hasn’t helped me solve the issue of the desktop version staying on frozen whenever i try to open it on my macbook pro. there are much better options out there for less if you’re going to be on your own anyway.

This app and company has made it impossible to use the app without constantly getting virus adds. You can’t even get to your notes anymore. So terrible. This has gone downhill. Stay away.

More than ten years ago I began using Evernote as a single location where I could easily store personal notes, technical information, things-to-do lists, pertinent news articles, and just about anything that I wanted to remember.
I particularly like the ability Evernote gives me to establish my own set of tags, keywords that act as “pegs” on which I can “hang” anything I save, thus creating cross-associations among the diverse categories of information I save.
Since I have been using Evernote for so long, it has become an essential extension to my memory, a place where I can memorialize ideas and concepts, adding to them piecemeal as new approaches or techniques come to mind.
It’s not just a tool, it has become a way of life!
