Why can’t I move pages from one document to another? And when I try to cut/paste, the pages I cut are just deleted forever?
  • Great app!

Notability as everything I need to stay organized and to customize things just how I want them. Everything is getting done now. Notability is far better than Goodnotes6 as they’ll rip you off. I bought the expensive lifetime sub when it was just “Goodnotes”. Six weeks later they came out with “Goodnotes2” but I couldn’t get any of the updates because I purchased a lifetime sub to “Goodnotes, not Goodnotes2” according to their customer service (but they’d be happy to sell me the new version lifetime plan). Whatever. Three months later they come out with “Goodnotes3”, again I don’t get to have the updates, AND they are “phasing out Goodnotes (the first version that I bought a LIFETIME membership to.) Stupidly, I purchased the lifetime sub to Goodnotes3 and again (I had many notes and needed to keep them), less than a year later they come out with Goodnotes4. And again, no updates for me AND they’re phasing out Goodnotes2. So they keep selling “lifetime memberships” but instead of updating the app, they just call it by another number and say it’s a “new” app so you have to purchase it again. They don’t do any updates to the previous versions and they phase them out so they no longer work. It’s a complete scam. Notability has never done anything like this but I’m too leery now to ever purchase a lifetime sub to any app.
  • Used to be good

I used Notability in school for my math classes and it was a good app. But I won’t support a company that thinks shoving ai features into every product is a good idea.

Could be great because it records well and sums up the notes perfectly BUT I just got this app a couple days ago and from the moment I got it it’s been messing up. The screen freezes and I can’t do anything. It sometimes will shut down the app. Very frustrating. And I didn’t realize I would have to pay so much. I’m a broke college kid. I just can’t afford this right now. Especially if it doesn’t work!
  • Poor customer service

App stopped working the second time I used it. No tools work except the keyboard. Customer service still has not responded. I cancelled my subscription.

Terrible app. New update led to thousands of notes being inaccessible despite having PAID for notability classic.
  • Not happy

Can’t get both apps to merge from my iPad and cellphone. I don’t recommend.

It’s not free you can’t even take notes for free. It cost 20 just to take notes
  • Price increase and quality concerns

Went from $10 - $15 - $20 (current) yearly, all to shoehorn in a bunch of AI features that I hardly ever use. Why add useless features when basic ones are still lacking. For example it still lacks any convenient way to access notes externally. The nail in the coffin was them updating their privacy policy to extract even more data. This app seems to be going downhill, guess I’m gonna be switching to Goodnotes…

Ok if you want to pay a yearly subscription. I will stick with Apple notes. Deleted this after 1 day of usage.
