It was better before they added the match tree levels, if they could make it so that the player could choose whether the levels were primarily hidden objects or match three then that would be great.

Yippeee! Just 8 hours and 45 minutes and I can finally be rid of level 6 of the Golden Event. No amount of strategy and absolutely no power up is strong enough to help beat this extra super mega, mega hard level. Just 8 hours and 44 minutes and we will say “ good riddance to level 6 of the Golden Cup event”.
This was NOT a match 3 game for a reason.

I initially downloaded this game years ago and absolutely fell in love with it. I loved the unique style of the search and finds and various different scenes and locations. I really downloaded this game because it was a home decor game that didn’t require the match three game style. I recently re-downloaded because I remembered how much I used to adore this game and the match three style just ruins it for me. I know it’s not easy to completely change the style of a game, but for those who initially fell in love with the game because it was so unique, please get rid of the match 3 aspect.

For starters, this game started as finding objects now I’m playing candy crush basically. I noticed they take elements from dice dreams as well, they can’t come up with anything on their own. Then, there’s pieces that are meant to help you that do not help in fact they pick the stupidest spots to ‘help.’ If you’re going to help at least let me pick where I want something to bomb. I can’t even count the times where it picked the stupidest spot and now I’ve lost everything. Getting fed up with this game.

Years ago, when I downloaded this app, it was a dream. I loved the visuals, the art, the story, and, if I’m honest, I still do. Most of all, though, I loved the gameplay, which was a unique I-spy style where the goal was to find objects hidden in a scene, interspersed with the sort of mini games that are often advertised but not actually representative of what the game offers. No other game was like that, even if the goal to renovate a house was similar.
But then I took a break, and when I came back months later, things had changed. Now there was a new element: the match 3 type of game made famous by candy crush. I have always done my best to avoid games like those since I don’t find them enjoyable, so I wasn’t happy. But I was willing to stick it out for this game I loved. I kept playing, hoping that at one point the matching games would kind of fizzle out and become rare occurrences between the object finding games, like the little mini games.
Unfortunately, that’s not what happened, and I ended up deleting the app because I didn’t enjoy it anymore. It was the lack of matching gameplay that got my attention. So when it became clear that the uniqueness that attracted me to be begin with was so rare in game that it was pretty much gone, and that this app was now just a matching game with mansion mysteries like every other option, I quit.
I went back and forth over whether to leave this review at all. The app has gone in a different direction, which is fine, and it’s unlikely to change because of one review, but I thought I’d put it here anyway so any prospective players know. If you came here for a unique version of the “renovate a mansion and solve its mysteries” game, then look elsewhere. The originality of before is now only present as a rarity.
