Tennis Channel for iPhone

Has all matches but you won’t be able to stream because it regularly has errors and the app simply stops working. Shameful for the price.

Disappointed with the streaming quality of this app on my phone and tv. I’m an avid tennis fan and watch tennis daily through my internet tv provider , but this app is unwatchable.

The tennis coverage itself is excellent, but the app’s stream quality is far below what a paid sports service should deliver. Live matches often look heavily compressed, motion is blurry, and audio can drift out of sync. Tennis depends on clarity and smooth movement, and this app too often turns premium coverage into a muddy mess. In 2026, this is not good enough. Stop focusing on cosmetic updates and fix the actual viewing experience: bitrate, stability, and sync.

But most apps don’t

There is a know bug where the audio and video get out of sync. Makes watching a horrible experience. Going to get a refund.

It is a shame that this is one of the few services that has access to all of the ATP/WTA tournaments over the year. Unfortunately, they charge an astronomical amount and have nothing to show for it. The content is there but the quality is not consistent. The image is jittery, stuttery, particularly on the “Match in 15” files. Their replays of the finals at both Indian Wells and Miami were a joke in that they forced the broadcast overlay over the matches so you were forced to sit through interviews instead of the actual games. The ATP audio mixing is ATROCIOUS. The commentators are always way too quiet with the action way too loud. The current mixing for the ATP Houston (3/2026) is ABYSMAL….like they’re speaking in the smallest emptiest bathroom that echoes..(and no it is not my audio equipment or my tv). Tennis Channel is just that greedy and sadly we all keep paying for it because they’re the only ones that give unfettered access…it’s just a shame they cannot get smart, creative, talented people on their audio/visual teams OR for the actual layout of the app particularly on AppleTV. It’s pedestrian and quite pathetic for the subscription fee they charge. Hopefully they’ll make improvements. Especially on the UX, the organization, and their audio/visual issues..because as it stands their app/subscription is not worth the price. Find another way to watch these matches.

Cancelled after 3 days. Application kept freezing during live matches. Also when switching between matches or when leaving a match it either starts over or takes you to live when re-entering. Application needs a complete rewrite. Finally, the tennis channel does not appear to carry any of the Majors.

The AirPlay and chromecast for this is so choppy. Sometimes it freezes (and I have to restart) and sometimes it goes back by 30 min without warning. If there is another good way to watch WTA I would go for that. Otherwise I’m stuck with this.

This app is terrible. Streams freeze, ads are often longer than changeovers so you miss half the game. I end up having to restart the stream numerous times. Will be switching to Tennis TV

This app needs to be improved so that you can always navigate to the match replays WITHOUT first seeing thumbnails of the post-match interviews with the winners. If you’d want to watch the replay, you definitely wouldn’t want to know who wins ahead of time!
