Booktok: Watch Books Explained for iPhone

They are just going to scam you for your money. The app does nothing that it advertises and makes you pay them money just to find that out. There is no range of book selection and they treat you like you are incapable of reading. I downloaded this because I was interested in seeing some of my favorite books come to life but they are liars

There are several titles that won’t play so it is not worth the subscription I paid. I also was under the impression that the videos would be in line with the books but some are not even close.

1 star because I think there should be a 3 day free trial or something before committing to purchase. Or make the first episode free so you know if you like the app or not. I’m not going to pay for something that I don’t even know if I would like. Also, if I’m paying for something weekly, monthly, or yearly, I expect to be able to binge it if I want to. Forcing us to pace ourselves is ridiculous.

I don’t care how good it might be. I’m not paying for something without being able to try it.

You have to pay to read and write. Which is absolutely horrible!

Paid user. Love the idea but most of the videos can’t even load properly. It keeps loading but nothing else shows up. Very disappointed.

None of the better quality (non cartoon) videos will load rendering the app frustrating and useless.

This is AI garbage absolutely trash every character looks different in each episode in certain books this isn’t as good as the ‘good reviews’ say I don’t know if we’re looking at two different apps but this is absolutely trash the story lines are way to short skipping scenes and the scenes they show are just all over the place it’s like they do 1 chapter then skip multiple chapters and do another chapter I rather stick to the books I regret buying a subscription 🤦‍♀️ save your money yall

I got the app bought the deal for a week too see how I like it do not deleted the appt instantly and now they are charging my card for a year subscription and I can’t stop it I lock my card and I don’t have a number to call and it is linked to my Gmail now I’m screwed I need help from someone and I don’t have a number to call
