WeatherFront - Radar & Models for iPhone

I worked 15 years in the weather enterprise mostly as a weather communicator. It involved the use of a variety of subscriptions with professional software, data feeds, and website subscriptions. This app has everything I need in place of all that. It’s always true that you get what you pay for but for $10 a month the value is exceptional. I no longer need my radar scope, Gibson Ridge products, or other subscriptions to understand forecasts, review model data, or communicate information. This is the app I dreamed of years ago and it’s here. Constant improvements intuitively implemented. Can we give six stars?

I have been using WeatherFront since it’s initial release and this app has everything you could ever want in a mobile weather app. The app includes various models including NSSL CAM’s and hi-resolution ensemble data (HREF). Overall, this app is really a “one-stop-shop”.

If you are looking for a great, easy to use Interface Application for personal or professional use, this is your App. Anything from Radar, modeling data, Satellite, MRMS, and NWS/SPC Outlooks this is your App. What separates them the most is Customer Service! If Something is wrong and not sure where something is or have any questions, leave them a message. They will reach out to you and take care of you in a timely fashion. This is an Application designed by meteorologists built for meteorologists and forecasters. You wont be disappointed.

Being a weather enthusiast, I downloaded all the apps but WeatherFront has been my consistent choice for real-time weather data. Easy to use and understand. Features are top notch. They are growing so fast and I’m loving being here for the ride. Give the app a try, you won’t be disappointed.

WeatherFront is by far the easiest way to view radar, model, and satellite data! The best part is that it is all packaged into one clean app!

Absolutely love WeatherFront with models,satellite,radar sand much more and only a 19 dollar pro subscription unlike most weather apps that charge 15+ a month minimum

Great has everything you’d need for a mobile weather app, no complaints at all. One cool feature you could add is the ability to see past tornados / events from a day or two before

Canceled my RadarScope subscription after playing with this for about five minutes because it was already clear that it’s superior. Now that I’ve had some time to get to know the app better, all I can say is that it’s an absolute game changer. Everything is here. The UI is intuitive. Changing between overlays is seamless. This is truly an unbelievable app: it provides an extraordinary amount of data for an unbelievably reasonable price. Honestly, if they had a desktop version, I’d cancel my Pivotal subscription, too. This app is seriously all you need. Well done.

Highly recommend. Just the first thing is it seems the app takes up more storage then other weather apps. Would be great if it could be lower. Other than that I’d love a search button to quickly jump to a location.
