- EXPERIENCED — turn off drift, set the cycle bell to your tradition (4, 8, 10, or 21), and use Meditation Anchor as a clean concentration tool for long sits, retreats, or insight practice.
HOW IT WORKS
Tap four times in sync with your out-breaths. Meditation Anchor learns your tempo and begins ticking on every predicted out-breath. The app gently follows the natural slowing of your breath as the sit deepens. Double-tap any time to recalibrate to your current pace.
A bell sounds every eighth breath, marking each cycle of eight — the foundation of breath-counting practice in both Theravada vipassanā and Zen traditions.
Single-tap to silence/turn back on. Long-press to end. The screen dims to 5% brightness during a sit so the device disappears.
