WAKE UP ON TIME: Proper Alarm Settings
• Keep the app open and running always to have your alarm go off and play the sounds you’ve set for ‘Music'.
When your app is open, you can use the volume slider within the app. When the app is in the background, use the device volume to set your volume.
• Make sure your battery is charged and have your notifications turned on before you go to sleep, when the battery level goes below 30% it might not sound. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off.
• Keep your Apple Music available on your device
The music you can select consists of everything you have available on your ‘Apple Music' app on your device. If the music is saved on your iCloud, and not on the device itself, it won’t be available.
NEVER MISS AN ALARM
When you close the app and do not have it running in the background, the alarm will use the device volume instead and play the notification sound system.
The app will close itself automatically after 10 hours of inactivity. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off.
When your device is muted, set to ‘Do Not Disturb’, or your device volume is set to 0, the alarm won’t play properly. It will still show the notification without any sound. This is due to Apple’s restrictions as we are unable to access the app settings when the app is closed, only when it’s open or running in the background.

I liked this app the first few years I’ve had it. Recently deleted it. The adds got out of control. Couldn’t even set time without having to wait and wait for the popup adds to end. Disappointed in what was a good app.

This was a great app but after a new phone upgrade the old app that I purchased needed to be upgraded. The free version is so obnoxious I deleted the app. The ad free version was my favorite but the subscription price seems excessive. Love the crystal drops sound!
Sudden degradations in performance

I’ve used this app for years, and have always been very happy with it. But the last few months, it has degraded to the point that I’m considering scrapping it. I’ve ALWAYS been able to listen to a podcast or some other streaming service in the background while the click display is in the foreground. Starting a few months ago, suddenly when I begin a streaming service and then put the (already open) clock in the foreground, the background app stops. Then a day or two later it will with the way I want it to - until once again, it doesn’t. It’s unpredictable, and completely unreliable. Also, I set a few alarms during the fast to remind me to take required meds. When the alarm sounds, suddenly it may take as long as 30 seconds before the “snooze” and “stop” buttons become visible. So the alarm continues while I wait for the ability to cancel it. What has the developer done to it? It used to be a great, simple, straight forward app. Now, I’m ready to get rid of it because of its sudden weird behaviors. Can the developer showed some light on this, and make it stop happening?

Bought this app in 2012. It no longer works, when I upgraded to iPhone 17 pro. So I downloaded it again and now I have to pay $19 a year subscription. I am also not able share within the family.

With all of the ads that literally block the use of the app I uninstalled it today. If it takes five minutes to set it, it is not useful.
