Ive had this camera for about five years and i love the layout of the app, that you can see a map and the speed of the vehicle during the video clip on playback. However, we were involved in an accident today and i downloaded the video to the local files, then tried to save the video to my phone to share, which it used to do fine. Now it says it saved successfully, but its nowhere on my phone. I guess since they stopped making the dash cam, theyre going to stop updating and supporting the app also. Lame. Makes ya never want to buy anything electronic anymore when it works great still but the company doesnt support it.

Spent nearly three hours trying to download a single 60 seconds video that somehow requires more memory than a 45 minute TV show. What’s the point of having a DashCam if you can’t see anything??? The people who made this should be in jail for fraud

App doesn’t work at all, dash cam wifi connects to the phone yet the app can not add the cam device at all.

App won’t connect to the cam when my phone is connected to the cam via WiFi, therefore the app is entirely useless as is the WiFi feature of the cam.

Very happy with the cameras and very happy with the app.
The app is simple, user friendly, and reliably functional. Haven’t experienced any glitchy behavior. Definitely not one of those cheap knock off brands that promise everything and deliver on nothing.
The Roav DashCam AO camera is the best for the money. My favorite feature is the wifi. Access all the videos on your phone, on the fly, in the car, etc. Watch, download, lock videos so they don’t get written over. Got this for my wife. She drives a lot for work and this is perfect for her. User friendly, great resolution, 30fps, wide angle, Emergency recording & parking guard, etc

I’ve been using this product for almost 4 years. It worked well for a while. I was able to connect my phone and pull videos from cam to phone over the WiFi function.
That ability no longer works. I’ve checked for updates and the app says it’s good. But, if I need to download a video clip, I have to pop out the card and insert it into my PC.
At least it still records and functions mostly well.

Pros:
The cam quality as a “hardware” - Good.
Cons:
The cam suddenly stopped recording.
Impossible to Clear SD Card, since the cam just stuck with “Processing” and nothing happening for hours.
Turning On/Off didn’t help.
GPS - unable to connect.
WiFi - phone stopped to see it. Manual connection didn’t work either.
Results:
Eventually, I gave up of trying to figure out what happened to it, just ejected SD card, removed it from the windshield and dropped it off at recycling center.
I Deleted Roav app and don’t think I will come back to them.
