    1. Allow one to correct a spelling error in a cell without losing things like BOLD, font size or color added to other words in the same cell. PLEASE!

Excel is a great program, but it is sad that so much functionality has been removed compared to the PC version. Simple things like filtering are so much more complicated and require more mouse clicks on the Mac version. Also it is annoying that I can’t reference a table column for data validation unless I create an additional named range.

No need to add functionality. I struggle to use 50% of what this powerhouse can do. Please leave things where they are or at least always have a switch for a legacy user interface. What can I say—there’s nothing better in terms of capabilities and user acceptance and use. Having said that, offer a license for a single version—I loath the subscription. A single license for a fixed version with free bug fixes for at least 5 years. Otherwise, no need for “upgrades” or additional functionality. Are you listening?

Files constantly get locked by users who are not using the file. Even users who no longer have access to the server. Literally, a computer that is now in the garbage randomly locks the file.
  • Unhappy w/ Mac Excel

Not very happy with how many differences there are from using Excel on a Mac/Apple device opposed to a Windows device. Using right-click on the mouse is a weird setup, things are labeled differently in menu’s, and so on. I find that I prefer working on my work laptop when using excel, even for personal implications.
