No bugs and just works.
A very good, narrow focused, utility.

Microsoft lens is a very good, narrow focused, utility that serves a role that no other Microsoft product performs adequately. It is great for generating documents or photos and storing them separately from a device’s, local photo or document folders by immediately uploading the files to OneDrive or iCloud. This is a crucial functionality for people who want to keep personal photos or documents separate from another type (i.e. work, volunteer organization).

I find this to be an underused app, and it pairs nicely with Windows computers! I wish the app had dark mode, though!
Works perfectly

Relentless signing in

I relentlessly have to sign in multiple times a day, even though I use this every weekday for the past year And today it’s gotten to its ultimate worst where it keeps putting me in the sign in loop every time I try to upload my captured photos I’ve converted or want to convert to a PDF into one cloud it truly is a very buggy app and this is one of the biggest bugs I’ve ever had to experience and it’s Causing me serious issues to the point where I may have to switch to another app entirely even though my entire company is based off of Microsoft products

For the last several months, the app has reported an error when saving PDF’s to OneDrive. Despite this notice, the file is stored in a default location. This is a new phenomenon. The files appear to be OK.
Prior to this error, this App seemed to work well, certainly at a 5-star level.
Saves to OneDrive Only

Even when I chose “save to device” this app still saved to OneDrive. I am signed into a work account and wanted to save personal scans to my local device but unbeknownst to me, this app saved to my org’s OneDrive despite choosing exclusively “save to device.” Evil, evil behavior.
